Shipyard

The shipyard, dry-dock and main engine shop etc. as a combined facility, has over the years developed special skills, which enable them to be competitive as to any work tendered and carried out.

What makes this shipyard outstanding is that both the management and the workforce are experienced in serving an industry, which sometimes has to operate under extremely demanding conditions such as, e.g. in the Arctic or eastern Greenland.

Work Undertaken on Site

The shipyard carries out repairs as well as new building, with facilities to do heavy steel construction, as well as hydraulics, electrical work, electronics. Precision engineering, instrumentation and all kinds of plastics and timberwork.

The Slipway is 100 metres long and can handle vessels up to 1200 tonnes net weight. The Dry-dock is 155 metres long, 20 metres wide and 6,5 metres in depth.
